Once you book a session you will receive a welcome packet that will highlight more on the information down below and will go over some of these same topics.
New! A questionnaire will be sent to you to help me as your photographer.
I fully understand that some things can be triggering or cause anxiety and I want to try to eliminate the possibilities of that happening as much as possible. You’re allowed to communicate when you are uncomfortable, even if it’s in the middle of the session; if you need to step away for a bit do so!
Your comfortability with me with your pet is my biggest concern, I would never do anything that would put them in harms way nor would I give them any treat without your explicit permission. You know your fur baby the most, please do not be afraid to communicate with me when their mood is changing! Pets are family no matter how tiny or big they are!
I offer two types of on location sessions:
- Outdoor/venue
- Home with my mobile studio
I offer two types of formats:
- Standard Digital
- 35mm Film
I offer two types of sessions:
- Full
- Mini
Basic Session Info
A FULL session is up to TWO (2) HOURS long.
A MINI session is up to ONE (1) HOUR long.
You will be given a contract to sign before the day of your session. This must be signed before we can move forward!
It would be best to meet at the location on the day of the session at least 10-15 minutes before your time in case there are any issues or we need to discuss any last minute details.
If you scheduled a session and for a reason outside your or my control (I.e. weather, illness, death) we will reschedule for the earlier date you are available that is free. This does not mean schedule a session and then forget or make other plans and make an excuse up.
Portrait Session Info
As soon as you’re scheduled and the deposit is paid we will begin talking more in depth about if there is a theme, color scheme for outfits, location, etc.
With locations I can give my suggestions and you can give yours unless you already have a place you want to go. From there I will take a trip to the location to scout out the best possible places that will fit your vision and if you are interested we can meet at the location so you can see the areas I scouted.
I encourage you to bring water (or your drink of choice) and snacks, especially if you have little ones! If you do not have or forget them don’t worry I will try my best to supply some; I do need to be informed on any allergies or special diets in order to do this.
Pet Session Info
Pet Portrait Sessions will follow the same session procedures as above, the only difference is that I would like to know any treats your pet is and isn’t allowed to have. I also would like to meet your fur baby in person during a consultation, this is just so we’re all comfortable with each other (your fur baby and I as well as you with me with them).
You’re encouraged to bring their favorite treats and toys to the session to make them comfortable and so we can use those for your pet to look at the camera. I would also encourage you to bring a water bowl, whether that be a portable one or their actual water bowl.
We will obviously let them take potty breaks!
How does the process work?
1. Fill Out Questionnaire
Once you book your session you will receive a questionnaire. Fill that out as soon as possible so we can work better together; it's a better way for me to get to know you and your vision.
2. Sign Contract
This is the most important step you can do! Nothing can advance or move forward unless that contract is signed (and deposit is paid).
3. Session Day
I suggest showing up 10-15 mins early just so we can go over any last minute details and prepare for the session.
Smile and say cheese!
4. Photos & Prints
You will get a unique password to view the proofs and order what package you would like.
